Wedding Coaching is changing how couples are getting married!

  • You are feeling anxious and stressed about the thought of planning your wedding and don’t even know where to start.

  • You have some ideas, but are struggling to get clear on what kind of wedding you really want because you keep receiving unwanted opinions and are now feeling confused and overwhelmed.

  • You're finding yourselves questioning the “status-quo” and would like to explore options outside of a traditional wedding, but don’t know what those options even are.

  • You are feeling pressure from family, culture, community, religion, etc. to have a traditional wedding and not sure how to go about navigating doing something different without “rocking the boat”.

  • You feel it would be helpful to have an unbiased third party to help you navigate any miscommunications, when you just can’t get on the same page.

  • You desire an intentional wedding unique to your love, but are unsure how to make your wedding authentic to who you are as a couple.

Wedding Coaching is right for you if…

“I am so thankful we decided to invest in wedding coaching. Tirzah help us walk through an authentic ceremony creation (that incorporated both of our Jewish and Catholic backgrounds, as well as navigating communicating with families from two different cultures which was incredibly helpful!) She also helped us navigate some of the challenging situations that arise with wedding planning like money and communication - I seriously don't know what we would've done without her. Wedding planning is really stressful and Tirzah gave us a space to talk out challenges and recommendations to make our ceremony exactly what we wanted.”

Our Wedding Story

When my wife and I got engaged, we were so happy and excited to be starting a new journey together. Then the stress and overwhelm of wedding planning hit us hard and we were swept up in the whirlwind of booking vendors, making big decisions, navigating expectations and frustrations, all while trying to remain connected and authentic to our relationship throughout the process.

For our wedding to be authentically ours, we had to have hard and important conversations about how to represent our differences and similarities in who we are as individuals and as a couple. Being an interracial, queer couple with very different backgrounds and cultures, we knew it was important to weave these intersections together in the creation of our wedding.

We thought about what was most important to us and how our values could inform the decisions we made. Breaking outside of the traditional wedding mold was something we explored and could have even explored more probably. But we made our wedding our own by deciding whether or not a certain wedding tradition made sense to us, and how we could change it to make it feel authentic to our relationship.

Were there some bumps and roadblocks along the way? Absolutely (which was not fun or easy),  but at the end of the day, we could look back and say we did the damn thing, and it was 100% us!
